COASTAL BEND – We proudly present this annual event, live and in person for the first time since 2019. An estimated 2,500 students will join us at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds this Wednesday, September 21st, where they will network with 66 employers, 26 training providers, and military personnel. This is an opportunity for students to explore industries & in-demand occupations such as Business, Healthcare, Professional Skills & Trades, and Public Service. Coastal Bend employers will be ready to share valuable insight into what it is like to work in their professions and demonstrate some of the technical equipment they operate daily.
The opening ceremony begins at 8:30 AM with the Santa Gertrudis Academy HS Drumline/Band and a message from WFSCB Leadership.
Thank you to our sponsors, the Port of Corpus Christi, Del Mar College, and Valero for helping make this event possible. Thank you to all participating employers. Your expertise and insight are integral in making lasting impressions on the future workforce. Thank you, Coastal Bend educators, for all that you do to guide students to bright futures, and especially thank you to all YOU Choose! students who will find success in any path YOU Choose with the right resources and community.
