SEAL connects employers to students with disabilities, ages 16-22, who are enthusiastic, willing workers, prepared to join a team. The program provides no cost training and hourly wages to support a summer employment opportunity.

Employers! Hire Local Students to Help Meet Your Summer Staffing Needs

Summer Earn & Learn connects employers to students with disabilities, ages 16-22, who are enthusiastic, willing workers, prepared to join a team. The program provides no cost training and hourly wages to support a summer employment opportunity. Join more than 1,100+ Texas employers to help students with disabilities gain meaningful work experience, positively impacting the community.

Employers are encouraged to register with a WFSCB Business Solutions Representative to participate and make a difference in Coastal Bend workforce inclusivity.

5-week Experience

20–40 hours per week, to help students build skills to thrive in the workforce.

Worksite Support

Participants receive worksite support as needed, at no cost to employers.

Disability Inclusiveness

Employers experience the value of reasonable practices which can open doors to new workforce talent.

Wages Included

Hourly wages and Workers Compensation Insurance are provided at no cost for employers
